The Tawi-Tawi School of Arts and Trades is Structured as a vocational school which founded in the year 1977. 

Tawi-Tawi School of Arts and Trades is one of the public schools in Bongao. That has populations of 2,387 students which composed of junior high, senior high and Step (Science Technology and Engineering Program ). With 72 Teachers as of now.

Mr. Christian Aguilar become the first principal of Tawi-Tawi School of Arts and Trades.  After how many years he turn over all his duties and responsibilities to the new  appointed  principal Mr. Mohammad Nur A. Tidal. Up to this year, he is still the principal of the school  Tawi-Tawi School of Arts and Trades .

Tawi -Tawi School of Arts and Trades are demand-driven institutions committed to produce graduates with competence training,  and learning entrepreneurship and life-long gainful employment fit for the global workplace. 

MISSION

 Tawi -Tawi School of Arts and Trades with the stakeholders will cooperatively work to equip students with technical-vocational training and skills and academics know-how to prepare them for the demands of the community and the workplace.

Tawi-Tawi School of Arts and Trades has the color combination of maroon and white. The uniform also has a combination of that two colors. The upper portion is a white blouse withstripe maroon at the edge of sleeves, while in the lower portion is a maroon plane skirt for the junior high and slack pants for senior high.
